Cytotoxic chemotherapy drugs have dangerous side effects that are poorly known by the general public. They are putting everyone in danger. In the few days after chemotherapy infusion with one of these problem drugs (fewer than 25 drugs), the cancer patient's bodily wastes contain large quantities of active dangerous chemicals. These chemicals can cause cancer, birth defects and miscarriage in others who may come in contact with the patient's urine, feces, vomit, saliva or sweat. In addition, the dangerous chemicals can't be effectively removed by wastewater treatment or drinking water purification. Flushing the cancer patients' bodily wastes down the toilet contaminates our land and water and the active chemicals can appear in our drinking water. To protect our children and our children's children, it is critical that the cancer patients' bodily wastes during the few day danger periods are carefully managed so our environment and water do not become contaminated.
