This project involves the vibrational circular dichroism spectra of chiral compounds. The goal is to identify cases where molecular modelling fails to reproduce the observed data. A database will be composed for chiral compounds. Both concentration and solvents will be varied in collecting experimental data. Comparisons will be made by fitting theoretical to experimental spectra. The outcome of this work is to compose a collection of multiple compounds which will include both visual and numerical data.
