The presentation will provide an overview of the experiments conducted at Purdue's Zucrow Laboratories to investigate the performance of various liquid and solid propellants with applications for aircraft and/or rocket propulsion. These experiments include gelled hypergolic liquids, addition of nano and nano-energetic particles to liquids and solids, alternative jet fuels, and liquid methane. The applications and issues associated with the various technologies will be presented in each case to provide context.
