The cocrystalization of LiCl with common organic molecules, such as N,N-dimethylformamide, pyridine, and diphenylmethane results in solid LiCl-organic cocrystals with ion channels. These materials exhibit respectable ion conductivities of approximately 4 x 10-5 S/cm and exhibit barrier-less ion conduction based upon eyring analysis. The strucutres, physical properties, and future development plans of these materials will be presented.
