Study logs have been implemented in an organic chemistry lecture course in order to promote reflection by students about their study habits.  The students are asked to keep a log of what they do when they study, including details such as how much time do they spend on various types of study activities, what time of day do they study, and how often they attend class.  They also answer a set of reflective questions after each lecture exam as they review their study logs and their exam performance.  From an instructor perspective, the study logs provide valuable information, but do students see any value in it?  This paper will provide insight into the students' thoughts about keeping a study log.  Data from the study logs, reflection questions, survey questions, and student interviews will be presented.
