Kinetics parameters of the thermal devolatization of hulks and seeds of  Moringa ole�fera were obtained using simultaneous thermogravimetric analysis and mass spectroscopy. Data were acquired using scan velocities in the range of 10 K/min to 100 K/min and step/isothermal programs, and adjusted to distributed activation energy models (DAEM) with three subsets of DAEM reactions. Results show a close relationship between thermogravimetric events and mass spectroscopy signals for most of the mass/charge ratios studied. Kinetics parameters fitted using thermogravimetric data were employed to simulate mass spectroscopy data obtaining, in most cases, excellent correspondence between calculated and experimental data, which allowed to suggest the contribution of each biomass pseudocomponent to the products of the thermal decomposition reaction.
