When it comes to finding a job in the environmental field, the possibilities are numerous. Finding that job can be daunting, because there are so many different types of positions, they are not advertised in one media source. Even for the one who has worked in a particular area; it is not easy to find another position that is a move up the career ladder. ACS offers career services for ACS members. Those that specialize in the environmental science field, have had years of experience working in this sector. The author will share a little of her professional experience as an environmental chemist and will share a lot about how she works with others to hone their resume to fit various niches within the discipline. She will also share success stories regarding others that have tailored their resume for the position they were seeking.
