Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) is the ideal cell growth supplement and generally favored over other types of cell culture sera. Its high levels of nutrients and optimal combination of growth factors make fetal bovine serum the most effective cell growth supporter for almost any cell culture system. In this study, fetal bovine serum (FBS) are irradiated using a solid state continuum wave laser of wavelength at 532 nm  and 808 nm. The beam diameter of lasers are 3 mm and 40 mm2 respectively. Serum samples of fetal bovine which were placed into a quartz cuvette having a path length 1 cm and fiber optic ports. The absorption characteristics of FBS were experimentally investigated by power meter measurements and absorption spectrum analysis. Laser and gold nano-particle included FBS interaction has been also investigated by absorption and emission spectrum analysis. The time dependent absorption and emission spectrum in the region of ultraviolet/near-infrared (200-900 nm) was recorded by charge coupled device (CCD) spectrometer.
