A major shortcoming of using nucleic acids for therapeutic applications is their fast degradation byendonuclease enzymes. Recently, copolymers based on DNA attached to a hydrophobic polymer havebeen used to form micellar compounds resisting digestion [1]. In collaboration with experimentalists,we simulate various types of nucleic acid-based nanoconstructs to optimize their properties fortherapeutic applications.
