Bacterial cellulose (BC) as the skin tissue repair material has superior mechanical properties, excellent biocompatibility, and an obvious curative effect in promoting the healing of wound skin tissue. Hyaluronic acid (HA )is useful for cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation, and is involved in a host of cellular processes including morphogenesis, regeneration, and wound healing. BC/HA was obtained by a solution impregnation method. The structure and properties of BC/HA films were characterized by FE-SEM, water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) and water uptake ability. The ability of human ?broblasts (HFB) to proliferate on the BC and BC/HA nanocomposites scaffolds and the cytotoxicity of materials was determined by MTT and Dead/Live staining. The cell morphology was observed by FE-SEM. The healing effect and in?ammatory was evaluated though histological examinations. Our studies demonstrated the potential of BC/HA nanocomposites as substrates for skin tissue engineering.Figure 1.
