Our chemistry department has continued to build the research experience for our undergraduate students. We use a constructivism lens and case study methods to learn and assess how our students are doing and aid in the improvement of our research course offering. A capstone project is a requirement for ACS Chemistry Department certification and is important for the graduating science student in their further careers either in professional or graduate school. We plan to present some of our research topics as well as the makeup and running of the program and the chalenges and successes over the past few years.
