With the aim to be used for specific medical applications, novel nanoblends based on cellulose acetate butyrate, poly(ethyl methacrylate) or poly(ethyl methacrylate-co-4-vinylpyridine) and an Algerian bentonite were elaborated and characterized by several techniques.The structures of these materials were investigated by X-Ray Diffraction and Transmission electron microscopy.Results of thermal behaviour of these nanoblends, carried out by thermogravimetry will be presented in this contribution.
