Several targeted drug carrying membranes were prepared by electrospinning method. The fibrous membranes consist of Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA), polylactic acid (PLA) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) which were all approved materials by FDA-US and FDA-China for category III clinical devices and have shown adhesion-prevention effects and excellent biocompatibility.  The drug release profile could be easily adjusted by optimizing the swelling behavior of the fibrous scaffold. That means a fast release could be controlled by increasing the component ratio of the amphiphilic diblock copolymer or water soluble polymer in blended fibers. Hemostasis agents (Tranexamic Acid, TA and Carbazochrome Sodium Sulfonate, CA), antibiotics (Tinidazole, TI), bacteria inhibitor (Silver nanoparticles) and antineoplastic agents (paclitaxel and PEGylated gold nanorods) could be embeded into fibers to achieve their specific clinical modus. For example, the combination of CA and TI carrying layers could be suitable for the special post-operational condition including hemorrhage and infection which are contraindication of the exsiting anti-adhesion products. The membrane loaded with paclitaxel could selectively kill the cancerous cells and halt the proliferation of cancerous cells though in vitro experiments. The non-woven fibrous membrane could easily attach on many kinds of implants by adjusting the electric field and rotating collection. We believe these approaches could serve as a technology platform to guide the design of implants with many different drug delivery functions.
