Uniform-sized lipid nano-aggregates (e.g., nanodiscs and vesicles) are made through either spontaneous formation or mechanical manufacturing. We are able to string them with triblock copolymer based on the principles of hydrophilic-hydrophobic interaction. This allows us to build up supramolecular hierarchical structures. I will present a few examples of the �stringed� lipid-based nanoaggregates and the parameters that control the morphology, aggregation kinetics and aggregation numbers such as charge density, polymer and lipid concentrations.Funding support: NSF-CMMI 1131587
