ION Engineering was founded in 2008 to commercialize energy efficient CO2 capture technologies within the energy industry. To date, ION has been awarded over $19 MM in competitive funding from the U.S. Department of Energy to advance their solvent and process designs toward large-scale deployment. This presentation will provide an overview of the company's history and technology, and provide perspectives on the opportunities and challenges faced by start-up companies in the area of CO2 capture.
