Inorganic nanoparticles embedded into a series of polypropylene (PP)-g-polyethylene glycol (PEG) amphiphilic brush type of graft copolymers with different chain length of PEG units with moleculer weight 400, 2000, 3350 and 8000 Dalton. These copolymers were coded as PPEG400, PPEG2000, PPEG3350 and PPEG8000. Au, Au-Pd, Au-Co, Au- Fe3O4nano particles were embedded into these amphiphilic graft copolymers.Mechanical properties of the composite Materials were evaluated. Young modulus of the composite materials was higher than the pure amphiphilic copolymers while their elongation was reverse. Structural and optic analysis of the nanocomposite materials were carried out using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), UV-Visible Absorbance and Fluorescence Emission Spectroscopy. The longer PEG chain in the comb type amphiphilic copolymer caused the stable spherical Au-Pd nano alloys. In case of Au-Co nano alloys in the amphiphilic copolymers, Janus type and polyhedral forms with a �nose-to-tail� shape were observed. Au core surrounded by the layers of Fe3O4had a network structure. Novel type of composite materials indicated the plasmonics and magnetic properties.ACKNOWLEDMENT.
