This work presents a statistical parametric study for electrospinning high density polyethylene of different molecular weight distributions from chlorobenzene. The difference in MWD led to non-trivial observations with fiber and bead diameter and distribution and their variation with electrospinning parameters. At low flow rates beads and fibrillar aggregates were observed with the narrow and broad MWD PE respectively. Statistical analysis, with Q-Q plots of the fiber diameter data were analysed using the Kolmogov-Smirnov non parametric test, in a computational program. With an increase in flow rate and polymer concentration, there is a progressively closer approximation to Log Normal distribution. The probability density function of the Broad MWD HDPE indicates a reduction in kurtosis and spread of the data with increasing flow. In contrast, the Narrow MWD HDPE shows no change in the kurtosis of data with flow rate, though the data distribution is more skewed than that for the Broad MWD HDPE..
