According to the working conditions of power plant stack after wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) system without gas-gas heater (GGH) exchanger, the experiments of temperature-resisting and acid-resisting of several kinds of materials, such as glass-flake mastic resin, glass fiber reinforced plastic, titanium steel, vitriol dew point corrosion resistance of steel and foam glass brick were carried out. The surface properties of samples before and after the experiments were characterized by scanning electron microscope technology. In conjunction with weighing methods, the properties of temperature-resisting and acid-resisting of the materials were investigated respectively. The experimental results and findings from the current research provide the beneficial reference to the selection of stack anticorrosion technology specifically forWFGD processes without GGH.
