The importance of drug delivery systems has increased exponentially in the last decade. With advancements in polymer science and the fundamental theories behind drug delivery systems today there is a huge scope for advancement. Our aim is to investigate di-block copolymer micelles synthesized from acrylates and acrylamides. Emphasis is on both active and passive targeting via Reversible Addition-Fragmentation chain Transfer (RAFT) polymerization with a drug of choice. Passive targeting is achieved by getting control over specific block lengths and molecular weights. Active targeting is achieved by attaching receptor molecules which are overexpressed in tumors. In the di-block copolymer structure the receptor is chemically conjugated to the a end of the RAFT agent while the drug is conjugated with the ? end. It is expected that receptor moieties are exposed on the micellar surface
