It is important to understand that countries using English as common language, have not yet fully realized that they are at a considerable advantage  over countries where other languages are spoken. Conversely, countries using other languages than English, should fully realize that they are at a considerable disadvantage  over countries where English is spoken. A recipe for unfair trade?It is therefore especially important to talk simple, transparent language when using units and their related quantities to enable unambiguous understanding intercontinentally.
