Cyanide bridged mixed valence complexes are used for photochemical energy conversion and serve as model systems for ultrafast intramolecular electron transfer processes.   We have measured the 2D IR spectra of various cyanide bridged complexes in solution to understand the vibrational couplings between the bridging and terminal cyanide ligands.  We will discuss how these couplings change as a function of solvent and size of the molecules.  Additionally, we will discuss how the couplings are affected following ultrafast intervalence charge transfer in these complexes.
