Fluorinated and alkyl-pyrazole mixed ligand monovalent copper and silver complexes were synthesized . The copper compounds exhibited luminescence that can be altered by different molar ratios whereas silver monovalent compounds did not possess this characteristic. A crystal structure was obtained for an Ag product, which confirmed the presence of both the fluorinated and non-fluorinated ligands simultaneously. Infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography data will be presented to help understand the chemical and structural characteristics of the products in all reactions attempted.
