We are facing growing challenges of energy, food, water and health. Solving these global challenges will require global systems thinking and proactive local action.  We will put a spotlight on new trends in education from K through gray (starting with the formation of AACT, American Association of Chemistry Teachers), highlight the elements of successful collaborations (starting with a 'green' mayor, a bold company, and an energy non-profit), and focus on integrating innovations � sustainable innovations - into our cities, our communities and our daily lives.  Working together we can set ourselves on a positive path forward.
