This lecture will focus on catalytic reactions developed in our laboratories. We have developed a series of C-H bond functionalization reactions with reagents based on main group elements that form versatile intermediates and reagents that form products with new C-N bonds. In addition, we have developed a series of coupling reactions that occur with copper and palladium complexes to install pefluoroalkyl groups. In some cases, these two areas have been merged into C-H bond fluorination and C-H bond fluoroalkylation proceses.
