One of our research focuses is to developorganic sensitizers with long-lived charge separated stated. Our designstrategy is to chemically link at least three modules to form cascadeelectronic energy levels that can facilitate effective electron and/or holetransport in one direction.  Uponselection and synthesis of organic molecules, we performed furthercomputations, steady and time-resolved absorption and fluorescence, andelectrochemical measurements to understand the decay dynamics. In thispresentation, We will use two examples, MTPA-TRC-AEAQ and MTPA-TRC-POR, toillustrate the design strategy and the results of our details studies.
