We have synthesized a heterogeneous version of Grubbs catalyst on silica. Metathesis reactions of Camelina oil with propylene in presence of Grubbs catalysts (C827) at 40 �C and 70 PSI provided with various olefins with relative concentrations shown in parenthesis in Figure 1 as confirmed by GC/MS analysis. The synthesis and catalytic activities of the heterogeneous Grubbs catalysts in camelina oil metathesis will be discussed in this presentation.
