Climate data presented as visual simulations provide compelling images to promote climate science literacy.  The National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) is a leader in obtaining climate data, and portrays this data with their Hyperwall, an assortment of monitors which allows viewers to immerse themselves in different environmental changes from days to centuries.  This macro perspective dramatically illustrates climate related changes occurring such as global temperature rise and dramatic weather events like Hurricane Sandy.  Human impacts ranging from urbanization to mountain top mining are also compiled in the images.  These simulations and images are gripping evidence of the effects human changes have on the environment.  They allow scholars and scientists to speak candidly about the impacts of humans on the environment, validity of evidence, and policy of countries.  This presentation will expose viewers to the effects already occurring from extreme weather and urbanization as well the perceived United States response from a foreign scholar point of view.
