An asymmetric palladium(0)-catalyzed Nazarov-type cyclization under neutral pH conditions will be discussed. Exposure of diketoester 1 to catalytic Pd2(dba)3 and TADDOL-derived phosphoramidite 3 gave enantioenriched cyclopentenone 2 ? in excellent yield.
