Preliminary results will be discussed on the effects of selected biofuels on atmospheric aerosols through the use of a custom-built generator coupled with FTIR. In addition, the interactions of biofuel aerosols with atmospheric species were analyzed. Aerosol particles were produced in uniform size of approximately 17 microns in radius. IR spectra were collected in the 4,000 � 400 cm-1 range from a short path-length gas cell.
