Climate change is a very intense topic in many forums in the world at present, but views on the topic are markedly different in the US compared to most western countries. These discussions are carried out in political, business and social conversations, often with vocal disagreement among participants. The author has given approximately 100 presentations to students and other groups on this topic. These talks include the science behind climate change, the sources of greenhouse gas emissions and the consequences of recent and predicted changes in the Earth's climate.  This report will present the views of about 2,000 audience members as determined by electronic polling administered after the talk. These results will be compared to ongoing national studies of American's attitudes about climate change which have been reported by researchers at Yale and George Mason University.  A general conclusion of this information is the strong need for and the value of further education about climate change. A project developed with this aim will be described.
