The synthesis of organotin polyethers via the interfacial polycondensation through reaction of organotin dihalides and the anticoagulant dicumarol is rapid occurring in less than 15 seconds in good yield, the lowest yield being 56% for the dioctyltin product. The products are oligomeric to high polymers.  New bands are found in the infrared spectra assigned to the formation of the Sn-O linkages.
