The average American citizen is often ill informed about many environmental and climate change related issues. Without climate literate voters pressuring their representatives, legislation aimed at combatting climate change is unlikely to be enacted. The pervasive nature of social media offers a powerful opportunity to educate the general populous. With undergraduate student involvement, the York College of Pennsylvania has being using many social media platforms to this end. The successes and deficiencies of previous projects will be discussed.
