We are interested in designing new ligand architectures incorporating multiple metal centers to drive challenging chemical transformations. This work will outline our efforts in two areas. In the first area, we have designed a cobaloxime metalloligand catalyst and have studied its coordination to a variety of molecular and semiconductor light-absorbers. The electro- and photo-catalytic properties of these complexes will be discussed. In the second area, we have prepared a versatile new bisimidazole phosphine ligand capable of coordinating two electronically distinct metal centers in close proximity with an eye toward CO and H<sub>2</sub> activation and transformation.<br/>
