With recent advances in the efficient functionalization of petroleum feedstocks with boron and silicon, the coupling of these components to generate new Csp<sup>2</sup>-Csp<sup>2</sup> bonds becomes more economically and environmentally attractive and feasible. Using a simple palladium catalyst, we report cross-coupling of silicon and boron partners using ambient air as the terminal oxidant. Initial optimization and the scope and limitations of the reaction will be reported.
