The present work addresses the synthesis of graphene-incorporated polyamide resin synthesized via interfacial polymerization process. Polymerization reaction occurred from the organic phase of trimesoyl chloride and the aqueous phase of m-phenyl diamine in which graphene was well dispersed. The resin was characterized by scanning electron microscope, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscope, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). SEM analysis demonstrated that graphene was dispersed in the resin and embedded in polyamide chains. Elemental analysis by EDX demonstrated the presence of graphene in the resin. The FT-IR data confirm the formation of polyamide layer with graphene. The resin cured at 60 <sup>0</sup>C for 4 h. The resin was tested for the removal of toxic metal ions. The polymeric resin has the advantages of fast uptake with high capacity. The work reported is aimed at meeting a practical need for highly efficient resin for wastewater treatment.
