We are interested in the development of solution-phase reactions for semiconductor colloidal nanocrystals.  In particular, this talk will focus on reactions where a key parameter that must be controlled is the oxidation state of a transition metal.  In the two cases I will discuss, chromium tellurides and copper zinc tin sulfides, the electrochemistry of the transition metal is important for the goal of obtaining phase pure products.
