Tetrabutylammonium borohydride was heated at 130 ˚C under vacuum. Sublimation of the products at 100 ˚C leads to a viscous oil on the cold finger. The 11B and 1H NMR spectra indicate the formation of the B3H5·3N(C4H9)32+ cation. Reactions of this triborate derivative and further characterization data will be reported.
