Water is a renewable resource and is essential for life. The developing world has created substances-toxic that it has led to this natural resource is one non-renewable in years. Contaminated ground and surface water reveal various levels of contamination that can pose numerous health risks. The interaction of natural waters with soil, groundwater, air, flora and fauna, among other factors, play a very important role in the determination of the pollutants that are in the water, since these are added by the natural interaction with each other. In drinking water with high levels of heavy metals may lead to kidney disease, neurological problems, and blood-cell disorders. Hundreds of new chemicals and industrial wastes have the potential to find their way into our drinking water every year, and their effects are difficult to assess. Carcinogenic and toxic chemicals and bacterial and viral contaminants that are resistant to conventional water treatment processes are found in all water treatment plants. This reason should take preventive, remedial and constructive techniques to prevent further damage to water bodies. To determine the impact of different pollutants is essential to identify the source and the different mechanisms or routes of dissemination thereof.  This investigation is led to determine the pollution impact in the water body. The objectives of this research are to conduct a thorough analysis of pollutants, especially heavy metals, which are found in this water body; determine possible sources of contamination; seek remedial and preventive measures, among others. To determine contaminants, water and soil samples will be taken and analyzed. Water samples will be conducted by Atomic Absorption and the technique for the soil samples will be discussed later.<br/> <br/>
