There are many considerations in crafting an intellectual property strategy that relates to natural resources, whether that is green technology or an invention including natural components. This presentation will address how companies can evaluate and implement best strategies for protecting and capitalizing on intellectual property relating to natural resources, including, the evaluation of patent protection versus trade secret protection, expedited patent examination, and other considerations.
