Quasi-degenerate Variational Perturbation Theory and Averaged Coupled-Pair Functional Theory produce essentially size-consistent energies but yield transition moments that are size-inconsistent due to wavefunction normalization. We explore a variety of methods for restoring size-consistency to transition moments including application of a Block Diagonalization approach. We discuss results and possible applications to coupled-cluster transition moments.
