The Missouri Western State University American Chemical Society Student Affiliate will present our club poster showcasing the various activities and events our club participated in over the past academic year. The mission of the Missouri Western State University ACS Student Affiliate is to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and foster interest in chemistry at MWSU and throughout the local community. In conjunction with the Department of Chemistry, the ACS Student Affiliate has been able to host several speakers for seminars, hold webinars and discussions to enrich the academic experience of its members, connect with the local community through outreach events for grade school children and high school students, provide opportunities for research presentation, and hold networking activities through fun, social events. It is our goal to share our positive experiences and network with other ACS Student Affiliates from other undergraduate institutions like ourselves to get new ideas that will better our organization, university, and community.
