Mo-doped SBA-16 (Mo-SBA-16) catalysts with different Mo:Si molar ratios were synthesized by a direct hydrothermal method. The structures of the catalysts were characterized by means of N2 adsorption-desorption, XRD.And their catalytic performance for the oxidation of ethane was tested. Ethylene selectivity are strongly dependent on the molybdenum content and termperature. The highest selectivity of C2H4 77.7% is obtained oevr the 0.05Mo-SBA-16 catalyst.
