&lt;span style="line-height:20.7999992370605px"&gt;Chemistry could use some good PR; youngsters could use some exciting role models; researchers could use some science communication training; and chemistry students could use some rewarding mentoring experiences - reinforcing their own learning. Informal and K-14 partnerships with university-based labs and research centers can produce all of these outcomes, and if the research funding is from NSF, there is added incentive to use some of it for such 'broader impacts' initiatives. Hear about partnerships that leverage existing resources to create joyful learning experiences, bring early career researchers face-to-face with family audiences, and enhance scientists' professional communication skills. &lt;/span&gt;
