High molecular weight block copolymers (M<sub>n</sub> ≥ 1 × 10<sup>6</sup> g/mol), which grant access to periodic nanostructures with large domain spacings, afford the fabrication of materials with interesting properties and enable a variety of applications. However, the phase behavior and other physical properties of high molecular weight linear block copolymers remain largely unexplored due to their highly entangled conformations. Furthermore, the production of these copolymers requires challenging synthetic protocols, which limits the availability of these materials for non-synthetic experts and diminishes their potential impact. In this work, we report a             “user-friendly” RDRP method for the rapid synthesis of ultrahigh molecular weight linear diblock copolymer using a combination of ATRP and RAFT polymerization to generate block copolymers that can self-assemble into ordered nanostructures with domain spacings exceeding 100 nm.
