Catalytic asymmetric condensation of prochiral 4-substituted cyclohexanones with aryloxyamines for the formation of axially chiral oximes upto 94% ee was achieved catalyzed by chiral BINOL phosphate complexes. A wide range of substrates have been synthesized with excellent yields and good enantioselectivities.
