In our previous work, we synthesized graphene/polyaniline composite, which use glucose as the reducing agent and CaCO<sub>3</sub> as the template. The capacitance performance is 243 F/g charge–discharge on the current density of 1 A/g. We fabricated self-assembling graphene/polyaniline nanocomposite paper as well and its capacitance reached 478 F/g on the current density of 0.5 A/g. All the capacitance performance are far below that of polyaniline. Herein, we propose a general method to synthesize porous graphene/polyaniline nanowire composite. Its capacitance can reach 750 F/g. In this work, the porous graphene is synthesized by controlling the concentration of poly (furfuryl alcohol) (PFA) with graphene oxide. This porous structure contributes to polyaniline composed with graphene. The improved electrochemical properties of the graphene/polyaniline composite suggest their promising application for supercapacitors.
