We developed a survey to measure student self-efficacy, interest, engagement, and ability to use multiple representations in the chemistry triplet. The survey was administered to general chemistry laboratory students in the first week of class and the last week of class, and to each  group of students over several semesters. We have monitored changes in survey response patterns over time as we have enacted changes in the curriculum. We will present statistical evidence for validity and reliability, as well as initial results for student growth along these dimensions.
