<b>Formation of ice from supercooled water plays an important role in many biological and atmospheric problems. This study clarifies the difference between ice nucleation and growth to help to understand how the competition between nucleation and growth is influenced by an electric field. In an experimental study conducted by the Lumonirsky group, it is demonstrated that the melting temperature of supercooled water is affected by an electric field. The objective of the investigation is to elucidate these effects from the electric field. The Water potential from Adaptive force matching for Ice and Liquid (WAIL) will be used to accomplish this simulation. The model was selected because it accurately captures specific properties of supercooled water that are needed for this investigation. The melting temperature of the WAIL model was confirmed to be 270 K in this study. Future direction of the research is discussed at the end. </b><br/>
