The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) will be a new national user facility for nuclear science, producing a wide variety of nuclides by projectile fragmentation for experimentation with fast, thermal, and reaccelerated nuclides. The production process for FRIB users will simultaneously produce large quantities of other rate isotopes that could be synergistically harvested without interference to the primary user. This work focuses upon collection of orphan isotopes from the FRIB beam dump mixed-bed resin. Separation of the mixed resin into the cation and anion components and separation of the lanthanides from the cation exchange resin will be presented.
