The Interactive Online Network of Inorganic Chemists (IONiC) has sought to improve teaching and learning in Inorganic Chemistry for over ten years. Although various outgrowth of this community has occurred over the years (such as a social media presence, hosting events at ACS meeting and our workshops), the foundation of this community is the Virtual Inorganic Pedagogical Electronic Resource (VIPEr) website. With over 850 registered faculty users from around the world, VIPEr is a vibrant community of committed educators. The site has recently received a complete redesign and is now more user friendly and compatible with mobile devices. The feature of the greatest value to the majority of our users is the continued development of high quality learning objects (LOs) which range from problem sets to laboratories to literature discussions. The site currently houses over 750 LOs with over 100 of those being published during 2015. Many of these have been developed at our summer Back to Grad School Workshops. The site will continue to grow and improve with the valuable input from our community that is often the result of meetings and workshops.
